- High Season Season: June - October and December - February → Best wildlife viewing in Maasai Mara (Great Migration July–October). Dry conditions, clear skies, and comfortable trekking/riding. Higher lodge rates and more visitors.
- Low Season Season: March - May and November → Heavy rains (especially April–May) make roads muddy. Fewer tourists, discounted lodge rates. Lush green landscapes, excellent birdwatching. Horseback riding and golf may be affected by rain.
- There is a baggage restriction of 15 kgs on all internal flights, in soft bags.
- All rides are privately guided by a professional riding guide and conducted in the English style using French cavalry and English general-purpose saddles.
- An intermediate level of fitness and riding ability is required, with riders being confident at all paces and weighing under 90kgs. Beginner riders are not accepted.
