- High Season (Dry Season) Season: Late June – October & December – February → Best wildlife viewing, animals gather around water sources. Great Migration river crossings in Northern Serengeti (July–October). Clear skies, minimal rain.
- Low Season (Wet Season) Season: March – May (long rains) & November (short rains) → Lush landscapes, fewer tourists, lower prices. Some roads may be difficult. Birdwatching is excellent.
- Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are non-refundable once purchased.
- Gorilla trekking requires moderate fitness. To make your trek easier, a porter will be provided to carry your belongings throughout the trek
- Participants must be 15 years and above to trek mountain gorillas.
- Gorilla and chimpanzee permits should be booked early, as they sell out quickly.
